Hey, I'm Alex, or you can call me Colchee. The recipe to my photography style success is a stirfry of candidness and relaxation, followed by a sprinkle of adventure, and a good dash of enthusiasm and down to earthiness.

JOY
Who doesn't want to immerse themselves in a day filled with joy, laughter, and love? It's no secret that weddings are the best part of being a photographer. I feel proud knowing the integral role I've played and humbled knowing I've been part of something so special.
STORY TELLING
Every wedding is the chance to tell the story of the couple who are getting married, and I love capturing the unique connection between them. Wedding photography is a story art-form, and the bride, groom, and guests provide the narrative. The characters, action, emotion, scenes, and themes are right there, ready to be captured through the eye of my lens. Every wedding is unique, and at times, you have to move with the elements. Sometimes these challenges capture the most alluring moments. Your ability to be flexible and work as a team means we get the greatest chance of presenting your story.
CAKE
Umm..nuff said? Food is what binds a group of people together, and what's better than an incredible cake to seal the deal? I know that sometimes there's a lot of cake left-over. Don't worry; I'll give it a good go. I love cake. That way, you won't feel guilty in the morning if you didn't have any!

I don’t want to just be the photographer at your wedding, I want to foremost be your mate. Getting to know you both and creating a personal connection with you is paramount…
This will keep us relaxed and comfortable and allow us to create more natural and candid moments; I’m there to capture your beautiful connection, not stage one!
But I will help out from time to time, like get you in some good lighting, ask you to squeeze each other a little tighter, just little things to guide you.

Based in the Macedon Ranges and Melbourne, though I'm not limited to these regions – I love travelling, so I’d be thrilled to venture out to wherever you are!
